I started doing teleseminars a few years ago because I got tired of being a road warrior. Little did I realize I would reach a point where I am generating $10,000 - $20,000 a month by talking on the phone on my favorite subjects to people who benefit from my information.

By that point in my career I was very involved in using the Internet to market my services, had written 4 paperback books with one becoming an Amazon.com bestseller, had received numerous awards and recognitions for my professional speaking skills, my writing ability and as an entrepreneur (my business was recognized by the governor of Utah in 2004 as the home based business of the year for the entire state).

 I had developed several information products, which I sold during live presentations and via the Internet. I also had some very nice consulting contracts. At that point my revenue stream was about 40% Internet, 60% brick and mortar. Business was great. 

When I moved to Oregon I assumed it wouldn’t take long for me to launch my business in the Eugene market while still growing the Internet side of my business.

Was I ever wrong. The market in Eugene is very different from Utah. I couldn't get business here to save my live. After a brief period of panic and a "Great, now what am I going to do?" period, I stepped back to evaluate what was going on. Although the live presentations in a local market were not happening at that time, I did notice my online presence and revenues growing. Actually, this the block in business turned out to be an incredible blessing.

Not one to sit in the “woe is me” mentality, I decided to focus on what I found I had a great passion for and had made some really good money with; teleseminars!
